Leadership Changes at Timpte, Inc.

After 16 years of unwavering dedication and exceptional service, Dale Jones bids farewell to Timpte, Inc. as he retires from the position of President & CEO. As this phase of his remarkable journey with the organization comes to an end, we reflect on the significant impact he has had on Timpte, Inc. and the community.

Jones, who joined Timpte, Inc. in 2008, has been an integral part of our success story. Throughout his tenure, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, leadership, and a passion for the ongoing evolution of American transportation. Effective January 1, 2024, Tim Carpenter took over the role of President & CEO of Timpte, Inc.

Under Jones’ leadership, Timpte has achieved numerous milestones, including the opening of seven Customer Support Centers, several plant expansions, and the creation of Thunderstone Manufacturing, Lincoln Marine and Equipment Trailer product lines. Dale played a pivotal role in the purchase of the equipment trailer assembly center (ETAC) facility in David City, the addition of a wiring harness manufacturing group, and Timpte’s market share growth.

We are truly grateful for his contributions, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy that will be remembered for years to come,” said Tim Carpenter, incoming President & CEO of Timpte, Inc.

Carpenter is a native to Nebraska, growing up just north of Timpte’s David City headquarters in Columbus, Nebraska, and is a graduate from University of Nebraska (UNL). During his time at UNL, Tim was part of the 1994, 1995, and 1997 National Championship Husker football team.

Tim brings with him several years of leadership experience, particularly in Operations. His most recent position was Chief Operating Officer at Lincoln Industries, where he held full P&L responsibilities for plants located in Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Mexico. Tim played a key role in integrating new acquisitions into the Lincoln Industries culture, and he developed operational strategies supporting growth and profitability on a site-by-site basis.

Prior to his time at Lincoln Industries, Tim held various leadership roles at Pella Corporation, further enhancing his expertise in organizational management and strategic leadership.

Jones will continue his active role on the Timpte Board of Directors, and the day-to-day management of Timpte’s subsidiary company, Thunderstone Manufacturing, located in Lincoln, Nebraska, while overseeing the development of the new Lincoln Manufacturing Facility scheduled to open in early 2025.
