Thunder 7000

This dual arm tarping system includes One-Touch technology. 100% American made motor and multi-function remote. Rear arm ball and socket handles the stress of the flexure of the roll pipe for a smoother roll. Hinge joint provides constant tarp tension during windy days and is adjustable for various load conditions.

Flow Deflector

Timpte’s new flow deflector design allows the operator to fully open the doors without having to meter the product onto the belt. This also eliminates spillage.

Sight Glass Windows

4” x 8” sight glass windows provide increased visibility inside the hopper tubs during loading and unloading.

Vertical Hydraulic Cylinders

The vertical hydraulic cylinders move the upper conveyor tube up and down while the horizontal hydraulic cylinder moves the conveyor tube left to right by 9 degrees.

Lower Assembly Unit

The lower assembly unit utilizes hi-performance Parker hydraulic motors.

Upper Assembly Unit

Knock Rails

Single and double knock rails can be placed all the way around each tub. The knock rails protect your hopper from damage and give the operator a solid surface to hit to help loosen commodity.

Single Speed

Direct drive – opened and closed by a manually operated 1” diameter shaft connected through a u-joint to the double rack and pinion gears using removable crank.

Two Speed

Gear drive – High and low gear option manually operated using removable crank. High gear option helps make larger trap door easier to open and dense commodity easier to unload.

Gravity Flow

Belt drive – Delivers reliable and smooth performance that’s easy to use and operate. The system utilizes dual sets of hi-strength belts that mechanically move the door open and closed with manual removable crank.

Spring loaded mount on the tarp cap to assist in rolling the tarp back and forth (only on manual).

Enclosed Tarp Cap
